Next Day Service-Same Day Service
All Bensingers Fine Cleaners locations offer next day service. Our standard turn around is two business days. However, when necessary, we can have your clothes back to you tomorrow. Same Day Service( 6 PM) is available if your garments are received before 8:30a.m. Monday through Friday. There is never any extra charge for Same Day Service
Wet-Cleaning Department
There are some instances in which certain stains or general soils are not completely soluble in dry-cleaning solvent. Or, in many cases, better finishing results can be gained for the garment and fabric through an alternative process called professional wet-cleaning. Bensingers has the largest and most complete professional wet-cleaning department in the Mid -South featuring Aqua Clean Computerized Equipment. Our staff is highly skilled in the use of wet washing soaps, and chemicals.
With today's new fabrics and expanding styles and fashions, some garments are not constructed to withstand the dry-cleaning process, even though the care label recommends dry-cleaning. During the wet-cleaning process, the greatest precaution is used to prevent shrinkage, loss of color and fabric distortion. The wet- cleaning department is a valuable tool to provide you with the finest results.
Shirt Department: Hand-Finished Shirts
Bensingers understands that for our customers to look their best, they must be wearing bright, crisply pressed shirts. We have installed top-of-the-line shirt-pressing equipment, a 8 point inspection and a hand touch-up procedure to produce a high quality dress shirt.
Shirts are laundered in state-of-the-art washing machines that regulate temperature and color-safe chemicals. Our shirt laundering process is designed to remove the toughest stains, including the ground-in collar and cuff soils. The process also brightens fabrics, giving shirts a "like-new" appearance.
Shirts are pressed on state-of-the-art shirt finishing equipment by skilled operators. Each shirt then undergoes a complete quality inspection covering adequate cleaning, spots and stains, buttons and pressing quality.
After inspection, most shirts are hand-touched with a steam iron. We do the small things that make the big difference. Broken and/or missing buttons are replaced. Shirts are finished with no starch, light starch or heavy starch.
Alteration and Repair Departments
Bensingers' experienced team and our highly skilled seamstress expertly repair and alter just about any type of garment. Many of our customers have commented on how convenient this added service is considering their busy lifestyle.
Leathers, Furs and Suede
Bensingers provides you with high quality leather and suede cleaning and restoring services . We can clean leather and suede jackets, pants, dresses, skirts, shorts and vests. Services also include cleaning , gloves, hats, seat covers, sweaters and vinyl-trimmed items. We also offer an extensive list of leather and suede repairs and alterations. Allow 10 days for most leather and suede processing.
Wedding Gowns
After your wedding: We clean, preserve and permanently package wedding gowns. Our gown preservation service seals gowns air-tight with clear, non-yellowing film in a beautifully designed chest with a viewing panel.
Before your ceremony: Bensingers staff will either clean and steam-out wrinkles or just steam-out and hand finish your gown so you'll look your best.
Fire Restoration
Garments damaged by fire ,smoke ,or water can often be restored . Smoke damage to clothes can sometimes be difficult to reverse. Bensingers has the equipment and capability to successfully restore your damaged garments.
Draperies
Cleaned in our mild (non-chlorinated) slovent (Exxon D-F 2000) or proffesionally wet cleaned if allowable.
Drapery cleaning and finishing is another specialty of Bensingers. Drapes are carefully dry-cleaned or pofessionally wet-washed [according to their needs] under closely monitored conditions to best prevent shrinkage or damage. After cleaning, drapes are pressed on the proper steam presses and then carefully hung on special drapery hangers.
